TRONICS Ultra Lightspeed LED wheels are self powered LED wheels, so you do not need batteries. Each LED wheel is provided with 4 LED light component which is powered through kinetic friction. This means the wheels will light up when the wheels are turning and you put pressure on the wheels. In simple words: just ride your board!
The LED lights have an average lifecycle of +100.000 hours.
The durometer measures how hard your longboard wheels are. Harder wheels are faster and softer wheels are slower, but have better grip. Longboards require larger, softer wheels to provide the rider more comfort. The reason is that the longboard deck is larger and wider than a shortboard deck.
Durometer 78A is a soft wheel, very suitable for longboards. Of course they can also be used on other boards that need lots of grip to easily roll over cracks and pebbles. Designed for smooth rides, cruising, longboards, hills, and rough surfaces.
